My name is Mariya Kravchuk

I have a biomedical engineering background and hold a master’s degree in psychology. I’ve been working more than 10 years by today in national and regional (CIS) sales and marketing roles within the Medical Technology Industry. Geographically, my center of gravity has been Yekaterinburg mainly — with the starting point of my career at a leading Russian distributor for medical system solutions.

With initial sales experience, I joined the product marketing at the leading Russian distributor, which created the perfect fundament to grow into a variety of commercial tasks. As a result, I used the opportunity to join the European subsidiary of a Japanese medical technology manufacturer to support their solutions in Russia and CIS countries. Finally, I left the sales and product marketing role there, to concentrate on the development of MISTEL LLC.

I have a medical technology engineering background, completed an executive MBA on International Hospital Management, and went through vocational trainings on electro-technical topics at a metallurgical plant — followed by some time in industrial crane construction industry. By now, I am looking back to about 25 years, especially, in European sales and marketing roles within the Medical Technology Industry.

I grew up close to Cologne, Germany. My professional path lead me to Gdynia, Paris, to a long term stay in Prague, and to my first destination in Russia, Kazan. My passion for Eastern Europe may be connected to my family roots. My love to Russia & CIS region has been ignited decades ago at my first visit to St. Petersburg, in 1996 — and with pleasure and excitement, my path lead me to Yekaterinburg, the dynamic hotspot of the Ural region!
